Zach was hired on in July 2022 a hand-full of months before the IPO of RIVIAN as the lead senior packaging design responsible for the approach, design and execution all of RIVIAN’S gear shop packaging, in-vehicle collateral, special projects.
He developed a new system and process for packaging for RIVIAN using carbon counting, reducing packaging waste and material, working closely with world class materials agencies and pioneering new solutions for packaging consumer goods.
Here is a case study for the mobile color kit that is used to showcase vehicle colors to new clients.
The team executed on Zach’s concept of using recycled aluminium from our vehicle production plant in Normal, IL to create the paint swatches as well as engineered a custom recycled cardboard box to carry within the frunk of the R1T.
